New Features

  • Your Activity Summary notifications now contain pre-authorisation expiring dates to help you keep better track of payment authorisations that are going to expire.
  • When editing a single order, Troly will now show you the parcel sizes that have been chosen in the ‘Carton Sizes’ field. The ‘Carton Sizes’ field changes as you change the shipping configuration for a specific order. You can still view the total number of parcels by reviewing the ‘Tracking Numbers’ field as usual.
  • Shipment label numbers are now added to the label CSV files.

Updates

  • Your End of Period report now breaks down sales per POS, Guest – POS, Staff-created, and Guest – Staff-created orders in the Revenue by Source section.
  • You may now enter more than 255 characters in the Delivery Notes and Instructions field. However, be aware that if the field contains more than 255 characters, Troly will truncate these instructions to fit on future shipping labels as the information contained in this field is published on your shipment labels. Troly notifies you if this is the case.
  • If you have entered a membership description in Troly, this is now also published under your members profile pages.
  • On the POS add-on, decide if you want to download a customer list at sign-in or not. Loading customers when logging in will slow down the time it takes to login but will speed up searching for customers within the app.
  • Filter your customer’s activity feed per ‘Authorisations’ to see all information in regards to pre-authorised payments.

Bugfixes

  • An issue where the membership sign up date appeared in the activity feed twice as been fixed.
  • Resolved ‘invalid variable’ messages appearing in certain templates.
  • Fixed up the naming of Troly’s shipping providers in drop down menus for clarity.
  • The Bulk Actions email template has been modified to only allow placeholders that are in the dropdown
  • Fixed an issue with items overlapping in the tasting experience

New Features

  • You can now set a customer as an “account customer” directly in Troly. Simply fill out the ‘company’ field under ‘Addresses and Payment’ and check the ‘Is an account customer’ option.
  • You can now test your Club run emails when processing a Club run in Troly! Simply click on the ‘Test Email’ button in the ‘Notifications’ section of your bulk orders creation screen to receive a test email before sending anything to your members.
  • You can now import your customers delivery notes and instructions in bulk using the bulk customer import function. Use the ‘c.delivery_instructions’ column in your customer file.

Updates

  • The email template descriptions have been clarified in Settings > Communications > Shipments for a better use and understanding.
  • When setting a Club visibility to ‘Disabled’, Troly now reminds you about any related memberships currently using this Club: members currently assigned to the disabled membership will still be subscribed to this membership but they won’t be included in any further Club run, unless they are assigned to a different Club.
  • When you cancel a membership, Troly will now cancel all related pending membership orders to ensure that no pending orders are being charged or dispatched after the membership cancellation date (so far, pending orders where kept in the customer’s account).

Bugfixes

  • The team fixed an issue in regards to membership order discounts.
  • A bug in regards to saving the Tasting Experience CSS has been fixed.
  • Our team has released an update that will prevent any Australia Post notifications to be sent twice to customers (this happened in rare occasions).

Updates

  • The Activity Summary add-on will now send emails daily even though nothing was recorded in Troly on a specific day. This will happen only if you set up the daily email option in the add-on configuration page in Troly.
  • The POS app is now available to be used on Iphones: download it here.
  • The Customer import file has been updated to allow membership variations to go through via bulk update. Simply type the name of the membership your member should be assigned to under the ‘membership_name’ column and add the variation name next to it (ie. Platinum Club (Whites)).

Bugfixes

  • The Tech team has fixed an issue where the wrong currency symbol was displayed in the Activity Summary emails

Product Updates, August 2018

August, you have been one very busy month 🤩 A lot of work has been done in regards to the payment pre-authorisation logic, the team has made it easier for you to know, at a glance, where things are at in Troly. Also, a lot of improvement has been made to ensure a smoother user experience when using Troly, as an account owner and as a wine drinker. Lots of behind-the-scene-work has been completed, and there is more to come. We hope you’ll enjoy the new membership variation feature as well!

New Features

  • You may want to use one single membership but with added variations. Say for example a club commitment is 12 bottles per year but some of your customers prefer red wine, white wine only or both. Use the same membership options and add as many variations as you like!
  • You are now able to cancel a payment pre-authorisation transaction for a single order. Also, the Operations page now tells you how long you have left before the pre-authorisation expires (the deadline is 5 days).

Updates

  • Troly helps you getting your membership delivery dates right each time when manually changed. You won’t be able to select a date past the next delivery date. You are still able to skip an order or set the membership pending if needed.
  • The commitment report now shows if a membership is currently on hold. A new legend is available at the bottom of each commitment report to help you read the information about your members.

Bugfixes

  • Tasting Experience: the team improved the sign-in pop up window as an issue was preventing some customers to log in.
  • The team fixed a bug in relation to missing ‘Create’ button in the Membership tab of your customers’ profile pages. Some other improvements are on their way so please do contact us if you still notice that a ‘Create’ button is missing.
  • The ‘On account’ invoices have been improved: a ‘On account’ stamp replaces the ‘Paid’ stamp and any other payment indication on the invoice has been removed.
  • An issue where the carton size selected for an order was not being properly displayed in Troly has been fixed.

New Features

  • Order payment pre-authorisation: once a payment is pre-authorised for an order in Troly, you have 5 days to process the actual order payment. After 5 days, if no payment is being captured on your customer’s credit card, the pre-authorisation will be automatically cancelled in Troly.
  • Your Operations dashboard now reflects the amount of time left for each pre-authorised order to be paid before the pre-authorisation is being cancelled. You will see a message saying ‘Authorisation expires in 4 days from now‘. When the pre-authorisation is cancelled, Troly will add a message to the order so that you will see these orders at a glance.
  • If you charge your customer’s credit card after the pre-authorisation has expired, Troly will not capture the card pre-authorisation, it will simply charge the credit card on file.
  • You are able to cancel a pre-authorisation on an order if needed. If you need to cancel a pre-authorised order, you will now have access to a  ‘Cancel Pre-Authorisation‘ button on the order page itself.

  • Offer membership discount to non-scheduled deliveries when members order online as a one-off
  • Copy across previous completed membership orders to be used as a guide for your next Club Run
  • Count one-off orders towards current membership commitment depending on a selected time frame and a minimum bottles quantity
  • Redirect your members to your WordPress website to edit their membership orders
  • Toggle the phone and SMS icons under Customer’s account detail pages to respect your customer’s communication preferences
